Advisory

Senior work on the parts you cannot outsource twice.

Some problems do not need a fleet of agents. They need someone accountable for the design decision, and a plan the organisation can carry after the engagement ends. This is where that work lives. Same standard, same written diagnostics, different vocabulary.

AI strategy and solution architecture

Where AI belongs in your operation and where it does not, what to build and what to buy, how the systems fit the ones you already run, and what has to be true internally for any of it to survive contact with your processes. We design it, and when you want it built, we are accountable for building it.

Typical work

  • Opportunity assessment against real process data
  • Target architecture and build-versus-buy decisions
  • Process redesign around AI-assisted work
  • Implementation of AI systems, agentic or otherwise
  • Governance and evaluation criteria written before deployment
  • The operating model that keeps it running after we leave

AI enablement for educational institutions

Institutions are under pressure to publish an AI policy, support faculty who are already using these tools, and get administrative work under control. Those are three different problems and they need to be sequenced. We do the assessment, write the roadmap and the policy, design the tooling architecture, and redesign the specific teaching and administrative practices that are worth changing first.

Typical work

  • Institutional AI readiness assessment
  • Adoption roadmap by faculty, programme and administrative unit
  • Use policy, academic integrity and disclosure standards
  • Tooling architecture and procurement criteria
  • Redesign of admissions, credit transfer and academic records workflows
  • Faculty and staff capability programmes

Diagnostic first. Always.

No proposal before a paid diagnostic. It is a fixed fee with a fixed end date, it credits against the phase that follows, and it produces something you can act on even if you never hire us again: what is worth doing, in what order, what it costs to run, and what should not be done at all.

01

Diagnostic

A fixed-scope assessment of one area. Written findings, sequenced recommendations, and the honest list of things that are not ready.

02

Design

Target architecture, process redesign, governance and evaluation criteria. Agreed as a fixed-price phase before it starts.

03

Build or enable

Implementation, capability programmes, or both. Same phase discipline, same evaluation gate.

04

Handover

Documentation, operating model and the training your people need to run it. Planned from the first phase, not offered as a concession at the end.

Fixed-price phases, agreed before each phase starts.

The diagnostic is a fixed fee and credits against the next phase. Everything after it is quoted per phase, in advance, with the scope written down. We do not bill hourly and we do not run open-ended engagements.

Who this is for.

General management and first-line leadership in mid-sized and large organisations, and rectors, academic vice-rectors and innovation leads in higher education and school networks. In both cases: someone senior who owns the outcome, and a real process behind the request.

Not for

Tool selection with the decision already made. Programmes with no internal owner. And anything where the actual request is a document to show a board.
